Membership
Active Membership of Inner Wheel may be taken up by anyone who is over 18 years of age and is also:
The wife or female partner of a male Rotarian. (Membership may be retained or taken up again notwithstanding the resignation or death of the Rotarian).
The widow of a Rotarian or former Rotarian
The wife or mother or sister or daughter or step-daughter or daughter-in-law of any Rotarian or former Rotarian.
The mother or sister or daughter of an Inner Wheel Member.
A female Rotarian or female former Rotarian
Former female member of Rotaract or the wife of a member of Rotaract
Honorary members who have served two years or more and have been elected to Active membership.
Inner Wheel was originally an organisation for wives and widows of Rotarians, but has now expanded membership. Active membership may also be taken up by individuals in any of the categories listed on the right. This year’s President is Rosemary Skipper.
Inner Wheel promotes friendship and personal service at local, national and international level. Inner Wheel welcomes visitors and guests who have an interest in the Club.
The Weyside Inner Wheel Club usually meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Activities include speaker meetings, outings, fundraising events and informal gatherings.
