The Club is organised into six Committees:
Club & Membership Service Robert Baird
Organises the Club meetings and programme for the year. Also looks after individual and new members, and recruitment.
Community and Vocational Service Paul Dawson
Responsible for helping local organisations and individuals by fundraising and also by hands on support.
Foundation Frank Golding
Raises funds for Rotary’s own charities, including Polio Plus, and is involved in other international Rotary projects, such as the Ambassadorial Scholars and Group Study Exchange.
International Alan Wynde
Identifies projects in other countries where Rotary can help and organises fundraising activities to support them.
P.R. & Communication Michael Buttler
News of Club events is regularly prepared and sent to local newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations.
New Generation John Stubley
Involved with activities for young people, such as Kids Out, Youth Speaks (a national competition on public speaking involving local schools), Mock Interviews (providing young people with interview practice), Young Chef and providing candidates for RYLA (Rotary Young Leadership Awards).
