Bell’s Piece Leonard Cheshire Home

Bells Piece is a charming home, on the outskirts of Farnham, which offers 24-hour support to adults with learning difficulties. It has a family atmosphere with lots of visitors, staff and guests - not to mention the resident cat.


Frensham Pond Sailability

Frensham Pond Sailability aims to provide first class sailing facilities for disabled people. It  is based at Frensham Pond Sailing Club, near Farnham in Surrey. It prides itself on the quality of its racing, training and safety programmes.


Sportability

Sportability, a registered charity, provides sport and challenging pursuits for people in the UK with paralysis. Those with conditions such as spinal cord injury, stroke and MS, MS can take part in a range of sports, scuba diving, sailing, archery, angling, abseiling, quad-biking, gliding, canoeing, clay pigeon shooting, go-karting, land-yachting, wheelchair tennis and many more.



Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice serves a population of 600,000 in West Surrey and North East Hampshire, caring for seriously ill people and their families both at the Hospice and in the local community. Funding from the NHS accounts for only 12% of the Hospice’s income – the rest is raised from fundraising. Farnham Weyside contributes towards this.


Step by Step

Step by Step provides emergency accommodation to young people aged 16 to around 25, not just to keep them off the streets, but to provide accommodation and support to give them opportunities which can lead to independent living. Step by Step is Farnham Weyside President’s Charity of the Year.


Woodlarks Workshop

Woodlarks is a residential care home and arts workshop for physically disabled people providing accessible facilities for the disabled and wheelchair users. These include a purpose-built kitchen, physiotherapy sessions in the well -equipped gym and ongoing professional training.
